	Each cabana features a wide, comfortable veranda, with sea views and cool breezes.

Coco Plum Island Resort offers its guests spacious, comfortable ocean front cabanas, each equipped with private bath with hot water, ceiling fan and air conditioning. Several of our cabanas have kitchenettes. All are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds and futons made by local craftsmen.

With exteriors dressed in bold, tropical colors, they have spacious verandas over-looking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. All cabanas face east, giving views of spectacular tropical sunrises and capturing the gentle sea breezes.

Our thatched-roof bar and restaurant was built by Mayan artisans, and provides a large open area with comfy lounge chairs and couches. You'll find it perfect for relaxing in the evening, enjoying a tropical drink or a locally brewed beer after a day's adventures.

The views here are spectacular, with panoramas of the adjoining cays, the central coast of Belize and the beautiful Maya Mountains, over which the sun sets. Nearby is Man-O-War Caye, home to several species of birds which soar endlessly above our island.

Your beach front cabana is comfortable and inviting, with furnishings from local artisans.

Guests enjoy strolling and watching sealife along our piers, with one that is over 200 ft. long! You will find it the perfect place for a quick dip in our crystal clear, 85º waters. There is a gazebo, ideal for sunbathing and relaxing, at the end of the dock. Watch for passing dolphins and rays, as well a our resident manatee, who makes daily appearances and is a thrill to swim with!

A trail along the western edge of the island leads from the cabanas to the southern tip of Coco Plum Cay. Running along a mangrove-edged lagoon where you will find our kayaks, the trail often provides glimpses of iguanas, hermit crabs, and several species of birds. At the end of the cay are two thatch umbrellas with hammocks, a perfect hideaway for reading a favorite novel, sunbathing, or simply relaxing with that special someone. The beach here is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. A privacy gate provides guests a small, yet beautiful, peninsula all to themselves!

Kayaks and snorkeling gear are available free for all guests. It is a short paddle to Man-O-War Caye, a bird sanctuary; or take a leisurely paddle to the barrier reef; or kayak along mangrove-lined islands, where you may happen upon a school of feeding dolphins or a gentle manatee. Pack lunches can be arranged for longer trips. The waters surrounding the caye are protected within the barrier reef, always warm and clear, and ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking.
