Mini guide to Montreal Airport
Montreal Dorval International Airport is located approximately 12 kilometers from Montreal. A popular transit point for world business travellers, it offers both domestic and International flight destinations.
Dorval has a main terminal and an International concourse. Aeroquays aid speedy passenger movement throughout all airport buildings.
Flight arrivals are situated on the ground floor of the airport, with departures on the upper level, connected by escalators. Baggage claim and immigration control are also located on the ground floor.
Fingers, which are the arterial corridors stemming from the airport’s central Aeroquay, provide access to the plentiful range of shops, restaurant and bars. Duty free and souvenir shopping is also widely available, as are currency exchange services, banks and ATMs. There are offices dealing with travel insurance, available on the departures level.
To access the internet, you can use public kiosks around the terminal building. The nearby Hilton hotel provides extensive conference facilities. Also located in the airport is a VIP lounge, which provides fax machines and computer terminals.
The disabled are encouraged to inform their airlines of any special needs, in advance of travel.
