Getting Here
Whistler is located on Highway 99, the scenic Sea to Sky Highway, just a two-hour drive from the Vancouver International Airport. For those of you who are joining us from the south, we are a comfortable four and a half-hour drive from Seattle.
From Vancouver, access to Whistler, is available by car, limousine, van, scheduled bus, train, or chartered helicopter/float plane. Once you're in Whistler, you can ride a free in-resort shuttle bus within the village area. If you want to go sightseeing around the valley, you can use Whistler's public transit system or take a guided cab ride.
By Car
The spectacular two-hour drive along the Sea to Sky Highway (99 North), from Vancouver to Whistler, offers awe-inspiring, scenic views, and was rated the 'Most Romantic Road in the World' in the Prestigious Robb Report Magazine in 1998. For a safe and enjoyable journey along a mountain highway, such as Highway 99, drivers need to be alert at all times. Maximum speed is 80 km/h (50 mph), which is actively enforced by police, and the use of safety belts and child car seats are required by law in British Columbia.

There are now more non-stop direct flights than ever to Vancouver International Airport from dozens of domestic and international destinations, with connections from hundreds of cities worldwide.
By Train
BC Rail offers passenger trains from Vancouver's North Shore to Whistler's Creekside Village. Reservations are required. Tickets may be purchased from the conductor (cash only) on a space availability basis only. Whistler train station has free connecting bus service to the main Whistler Village.
