Discount Long Distance and T1 Line

Welcome to USATalkCheap.com. We specialize in helping you find a long distance phone provider for residential or small business domestic or international use. All of them except the Accudial dial-around long distance plan are direct dial phone plans (you do not have to dial a 1010 number or any extra numbers) that provide detailed monthly billing. Our goal is to provide information that will help you save money on all of your calls. We also provide quotes for business T1 line customers. Check out the low price guarantee for a high speed internet T3 connection or a T1 line with integrated data and voice. If you have high speed Internet access through a cable or DSL modem, be sure to check out two new money saving phone services ($19.95 per month for unlimited usage) called Packet8 broadband phone and Lingo broadband phone service. Lingo also has a no limit Asia plan for $34.95 per month. Both of them have a 30 day money back guarantee.

How do they offer such cheap rates?

They buy their network time from larger companies like Qwest, MCI, and Global Crossing. Therefore, you also get excellent phone line quality and reliability from an extensive fiber optic network. Since they buy in bulk, you get a deep discount rate. They also do not have the high advertising costs of a major carrier and can spend their money to provide the best bargain price to you.

How do I find the cheapest carrier in my calling area?

Use the compare long distance phone rate calculator to see a comparison of resellers in your area. When you enter the first six digits of your phone number starting with the area code and an estimate of your monthly usage in minutes, you will be shown a list sorted in order of cheapest rate per month.

Cogniworld is also a discount international long distance provider, Accudial is a dial-around long distance calling plan, Talk America is a local and long distance phone service, TTI National has a small business plan, and Opex offers a prepaid long distance discount and a free long distance calling offer.

Compare our cheaper phone carriers to IDT, Sprint, Bellsouth, Excel, Verizon, ATT, and SBC.

How do I sign up online?

After using the compare long distance phone rate calculator to find the cheapest carrier in your area, click on the link to go to the carrier web site. You will find a link for an "Online Service Request Form". The online signup is an easy way to securely switch your phone service right over the internet. Once you have completed the online signup, you will receive an automated recorded confirmation phone call to the phone number being switched and an email from the carrier. The confirmation phone call records your voice and is required for activation. If you miss your confirmation phone call, you will be able to go to your order form and trigger another phone call.

After you sign up

Please allow 5 to 7 business days for your flat rate phone service to be switched. If you want to check if your phone service has been switched, wait about five business days after being signed up and call the toll free number you were given in the confirmation email from the phone line that is being switched. If you are switching to Unitel flat rate phone service and hear a recording for Global Crossing, then your phone service has been successfully switched. Global Crossing is the underlying network provider for Unitel. Sign up today for Cogniworld and save on international or foreign calls.

Note - Switching Fees from your local phone service provider

Unitel, Opex, PNG, and TTI National will credit any switching fees from your local phone company. Make a copy of your local phone bill with the switching fees on it and send it with your next monthly payment and the amount for the switching fee will be deducted from your phone bill. For TTI National, you must call customer service and tell them the amount charged for switching. Covista Communications will credit switching fees for small business customers only. A typical charge for switching your phone service is $5 for changing the local toll phone company and $5 for changing the interstate flat rate phone service for a total of $10 per phone line.
