Your Shopping Cart
When you add an item to Your Shopping Cart, you are simply
storing it on JungleShop - when you are done shopping or browsing,
then you can go to the Manage/Checkout
page and either buy everything at once - or do several
other things, including:
- Wishlist: Add everything to your Amazon.com Wishlist.
- Wedding Registry: Add everything to your Amazon.com Wedding Registry.
- Baby Registry: Add everything to your Amazon.com Baby Registry.
Recent additions include comparison shopping, additional
user defined sort options, product commentaries, and more. (Suggestions? Send
them here)
Adding Items
Adding an item is simple and fast (and non-committal). Go ahead -
add this Harry Potter book below by clicking on "Add to cart" button.
No really, go ahead - you can delete it easily later
if you're not partial to Harry. You'll be taken to the shopping cart page to
see your addition. Click the 'help' button (on the bottom of the cart page) to return to this page.
Great, now that you've added The Goblet of Fire to your Shopping Cart
(You should see it in the "Shopping Cart" box in the top right corner of this
page, if you're looking), try clicking the button again - you'll see it just adds
one more to the quantity of items in your cart. You can also fine-tune this by
changing the quantity field on the Manage/Checkout page.
Longevity and Uses
Items in your Shopping Cart are set up to stay there for 1 day, unless you remove
them on the Manage/Checkout page (or delete your cookies) - or if you add or update
anything, the 1 day limit is reset. You can use it as a reference page, a quick
look at a previous browsing/shopping session.
Cookies
The Shopping Cart feature relies heavily on cookies, so
users must have cookies enabled to use this. For the sake of clarity: a
cookie is a small text file stored on your personal computer (by your
browser) that corresponds uniquely to a single website. Small bits of
information can be safely stored there to be retrieved by the correlated
website at a later time. If you browse with cookies disabled you can still
visit our premium merchants for your shopping pleasure.
Privacy
As previously stated on JungleShop's Privacy page:
Individuals using JungleShop (http://www.jungleshop.com/)
agree to nothing in particular, except maybe the fact they find this
interface useful. JungleShop will not share any information that is
incidentally gathered through this website with any other party. What kind of
information can be collected? Basically, what pages were viewed, what
search terms were entered, repeat visits, etc. This information will be
kept private. This includes any information incidentally shared via the
use of cookies for the Shopping Cart feature.
