About the Link King

Why is this important?

The Link King is a resource centre for webmasters and search engine optimisers who are looking to boost the link popularity of their websites.

There are two major reasons why having a good number of quality links is important - firstly, because links from other sites give you an opportunity to attract more users, and secondly, because search engines such as Google regard your link popularity as an important factor when calculating how your page will rank in their index.

Why can't I do all my link building and exchanging myself?

Why don't I just join one of those automated schemes which promise me thousands of links?

The process of exchanging links is an arduous one, and in order to stay ahead of the competition, links need to be constantly updated and added to. Whilst the Link King aims to provide a useful resource for webmasters looking to exchange links, we also offer managed packages for website owners who are too busy to set these up themselves.

These sites, known as "Link Farms", are regarded very poorly by the search engines, and some may even harm your ranking. Our experience with automated link exchange software has shown that webmasters are often unlikely to respond to these link requests, as they are regarded as "SPAM".
