Our Bob Lee ash handles are hand-cut, hand-shaped and hand-ffinished from our exclusive wood product, DuraWood.
Through our own unique processing, ash wood is impregnated with dyes and special polymers which are distributed throughout the wood. These procedures add strength, hardness, dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, durability, and unsurpassed moisture protection to our wood, while also increasing the overall mass of our equipment.
Aesthetically speaking, impregnation enhances the appearance of the wood by accentuating the pattern and complexities of the ash graining.
