Another Great Day at SES New York!

Today was another great day at SES New York. We met with friends and and even had the opportunity to participate in another episode of “Cover Story” on WebmasterRadio. In fact today was the first time that David McInnis, Brandy Shapiro and her fabulous producer and husband Darrin and I were actually in the same place to conduct the show. Instead of being cross county we were right accross from each other at the Search Engine Strategies Show.

Speaking of the show we had a fabulous guest today in Jake Baillie who just launched TrueLocal a fabulous search engine for local business in the the local communities where we live and work every day. Jake shared with us all what it took to take a dream and make it a reality. We wish him continued success in this great undertaking.

Search Engine Strategies Keeps Getting Better!

Well February 28th, 2005 marked the start of another round of Jupiter Medias Search Engine Strategies Conference. This time the conference is in the Big Apple. Following a long cross country flight from Seattle to New York City and a schedule that starts three hours earlier than usual we were not feeling at all rested up. However, from the start of the show there has been so much energy that we found ourselves charged up for the event.

The really cool part of the SES New York is all of the great people that attend and participate. We are seeing new companies with innovative ideas that will help propel the online industry to the next level. The wonderful thing is the opportunity to be a part of the online movement. Danny Sullivan of Jupitermedia does a tremendous job of making these events remarkable. Who would have guessed that there would be a need for an event like the Search Engine Strategies only a few years ago.

Even Yahoo! has gone through a metamorphis over the past ten years that make it almost unrecognizable from the original website aside from the name. I listened as Yahoo! Co-Founder Jerry Yang spoke about this being Yahoo!’s tenth year in business. One thing that stuck out was when he said “Be a place people trust.” I couldn’t agree more. At PRWeb we never forget that behind every press release there exist a person with a dream that they want to tell the world about and we strive everyday to add more value in delivering that message.

We know we may never get the chance to speak to all of you directly, but if the opportunity occurs I would love for you to come by and introduce yourselves. That includes visiting our corporate office located in Washington State or at one of the many shows and events that we are able to participate in throughout the year. If you happen be in New York maybe we can meet this week at the conference.

In a Fix TV Star Nani E. Vinken provides PR fix

Designer Celebrity Nani E. Vinken, the star of In a Fix, will talk about the PR efforts that led to her own TV show and other cool insights on Cover Story on February 16, 2005 at 11:00 AM PST. Find out how she promoted herself to clients and television as an expert in her field.

Nani came to In a Fix via Switzerland with Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Art Center College of Design and her Masters from Webster University Geneva.
