 | | Tim Smith averaged 35 points a game in the 2005 SoCon Tournament. | CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (3/3/05) -- East Tennessee State junior guard Tim Smith (Newport News, Va.) scored 33 points, but it was not enough as Chattanooga ended the Buccaneers' season with a 77-70 win in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Tournament Thursday night at the McKenzie Arena.

Men’s tennis opens SoCon action with 6-1 win over Cougars

(Mar. 3, 2005) – The East Tennessee State University men’s tennis won their first SoCon match of the 2005 season against tennis rival the College of Charleston 6-1 at Patriot’s Point. With the win, the Bucs improve to 5-3 overall, 1-0 in the SoCon, while the Cougars fall to 4-2, 1-1 with the loss.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Mar. 3, 2005) – Friday’s baseball matchup between East Tennessee State and West Virginia from Cardinal Park in Johnson City, Tenn. has been moved to 2 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday’s game is still set for 2 p.m. while Sunday’s first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
