The Hotel Astoria Budapest, built on the medieval town walls in 1914 is one of the most charming old style hotels of Budapest. Its turn-of-the-century atmosphere, Empire style interior decoration, the precious works of art compel the guests admiration.

During the reconstruction works of the hotel a brand new room type was created. The new de luxe rooms' colours, the soft ochre yellow, the terracotta, the red Burgundy and the pattern of the textile and the elegant white furniture remind us of the atmosphere in Provance. The new air-conditioned de luxe rooms can be booked from 1st January 2005.

Topaz Rooms situated on the quiet Magyar street wing, furnished in contemporary style with elegant silk upholstered furniture made of beech-wood.

Empire Suites furnished in Empire style, that recalls the atmosphere of the turn-of-the-century saloons of Budapest.

We provide connecting and non-smoking rooms or anti-allergic room for our guests upon request, and if you need we render qualified baby-sitters as well to take care of your children. In our hotel your pets are welcome guests, too.

Room service, laundry and valet service are also at the disposal of our guests.

We offer our two air-conditioned function rooms and five seminar rooms both with daylight, equipped with all technical facilities for conferences, seminars, meetings, trade shows, press conferences.

The bright air-conditioned room, located on the first floor of the hotel, facing the quiet Magyar street is decorated with the several shades of green.

A historical place, decorated with pastel shades and furnished in Empire style, gives privacy for smaller meetings, seminars, training, press conferences, gala dinners, receptions up to 40 persons.

Empire Suites
5 stylish suites, that recall the atmosphere of the old Pest saloons, are ideal for smaller gatherings, meetings, dinners up to 35 persons.

Restaurant Empire The hotel's fine dining room, the richly ornamented Restaurant Empire awaits the guests with the specialities of Hungarian and international cuisine and live music in the evenings in an elegant turn-of-the-century atmosphere. Open: 7.00 a.m.-10.00 a.m., 12.00 a.m.-3.00 p.m., 6.30 p.m.-11.00 p.m.

Astoria Café Mirror
We offer excellent coffees, delicious cakes, famous patisserie specialities, ice cream cup fantasies, wide range of fruit juices and drinks in a traditional old style Café that received famous persons as well during its 80 years. The Café Saloon which can be separated from the Café gives the atmosphere of privacy for smaller dinners, receptions, press conferences. Open: 7.00 a.m. - 11.00 p.m.

Astoria Drink Bar
We serve Hungarian and international drinks, cocktails, special mixed drinks in the Astoria Drink Bar next to the Restaurant Empire.
