Marine experts from around the UK have pooled their knowledge on how the world's
ocean systems work, to launch the National Centre for Ocean Forecasting... From News

temperatures were generally above average, most noticeably
in Scotland. Rainfall totals were below average away from
eastern areas. Some areas in the south had only a quarter
of their normal rainfall and many areas had their fourth consecutive

(Northumberland) and 23 cm from Carterhouse (Scottish Borders),
