Sydney airport features 3 separate terminals
which have been numbered to make things easier for travellers.
T1 – International terminal: International
Departing Passengers and QF Flights 001 – 399
T2 – Domestic terminal: Virgin Blue, Regional
Express, Aeropelican, Horizon and QF Flights 1600 and above.
T3 – QANTAS terminal: QF Flights 0400 – 1599.
The Domestic rail station is located directly
below T3 Qantas Domestic Terminal and is reached from inside
these terminals. Passengers from Virgin Blue should follow the
well signed footpath to the station.
The International rail station is located
directly below T1 International Terminal and is reached from
inside the terminal on the arrivals level.
Airport Link is
the fastest and most convenient way to reach the centre of Sydney.
Trains run every 10 minutes and the journey into the city takes
only 13 minutes. The domestic station links directly to the
City Circle which includes Central, Museum, St James, Circular
Quay, Wynyard and Town Hall stations (all underground city stations).

For passengers
wishing to travel to sydney suburbs, catch the train to
central station and then change for all suburban services.
Passengers can also transfer to T1 International
terminal for only A$4 – ask at the station ticket window.
Shuttle Bus Services
There are several private companies that
run shuttle services to and from the city (and even suburban
areas) – they depart regularly from the front of the airport
terminals and cost around A$10 per person for a one way
trip into the city. These shuttle services will take around
20 minutes to get into the city.
NB The government Airport Express bus
ceased operation when shortly after the train link was built.
Taxis
Each terminal has its own sheltered taxi
rank with supervisors on hand in peak hours to ensure a
smooth flow of taxis for travellers.
If you have
any special needs, see the kerbside supervisors. They can
organise taxis with baby capsules, wheelchair access, 5
seaters, station wagons for lots of baggage, and maxi taxis
for groups.

Sydney Airport offers a range of car parking
options that are perfectly suited to your needs. There are
Short Term, Long Term and Quickpark areas to cater for travellers
and visitors alike. So why park kilometres away when you
can park metres away?
International Terminal Car Park
The International Terminal Car Park is
located on Arrivals level of the International Terminal.
The recently upgraded car park has been increased in size
by 40%. Payment is via the cashier when exiting the car
park or via new automated pay stations located conveniently
at the pedestrian entry to the car park.
Domestic Terminal Car Park
You'll find
the newly upgraded car park is now accessible from both
Departures and Arrivals levels. New lifts and Departures
level footbridges provide direct and easy access to the
terminals. Payment is via new automated pay stations located
conveniently throughout the car park.

Long Term Parking
Sydney Airport's best kept secret, the
Long Term Car Park is the convenient and cost effective
option for passengers leaving on longer holidays and business
trips. Enter Ross Smith Avenue from General Holmes Drive
or Sir Reginald Ansett Drive and follow the signs to the
car park (located near the heliport).
Courtesy buses operate regularly to and
from the International, Domestic and Express Terminals.
From long term car park to:
T1 International terminal - Shuttle buses
leave every 20 minutes from 4am – 11:40pm and the trip takes
approximately 10 minutes.
T2 &T3 domestic
– shuttle buses leave every 15minutes from 3am – 11:45pm.
The trip to T3 domestic takes approximately 7 minutes including
a stop at the T2 terminal.
