Improving the lives of women affected by conflict
The 49th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women is meeting in New York to consider the progress made on improving the status of women since the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action ten years ago. The ICRC is there to explain the steps it has taken to meet the specific challenges faced by women in conflict.

Providing health care to tsunami survivors
