Each year the Young New Yorkers participate in two fundraisers. The sold-out "Summer Italian Style" took place on July 21 and included a raffle drawing and cocktail reception, hosted by Italian designer Salvatore Ferragamo, followed by dinner and dancing at the world-famous '21'. On December 2, 2004, the Young New Yorkers will host their annual fall benefit, "A Night on the Town XI." The evening will begin with a New York Philharmonic concert conducted by David Robertson and featuring the violinist Christian Tetzlaff. A gala dinner dance at the Racquet & Tennis Club will follow. We hope all Young New Yorkers can join us for this evening of great music and friends! A second gala in the spring of 2005 will be announced.
