Mission Statement
The Circuit Civil Division maintains a high standard of customer service by providing accurate and timely services regarding civil cases with damages above $15,000.00. We accept, deposit and disburse registry money as ordered. We provide staff for civil jury trials, conduct foreclosure sales and file and process appeals for Circuit, Family, County and Probate Courts. We issue Marriage License applications, and perform marriage ceremonies. We maintain and report statistical information as required.

The Circuit Civil Division staff are committed to improving efficiency and effectiveness though use of the management operating system, thereby maximizing staff utilization.

Functions in the Circuit Civil Division include collecting and processing fees, deposits and disbursements, providing staff for civil jury, trials conducting foreclosure sales for Circuit, Family, County and Probate Courts, filing and processing appeals to the Fourth District Court of Appeals for Circuit Civil, Family Courts, Marriage License applications, performing marriage ceremonies and maintaining statistics for the Office of the State Court administrator, State Comptroller and Bureau of Vital Statistics.
