I. General User Pages
I.1. The Welcome Page
Users arrive one the "welcome page" when they login to the LuxSci members'
web site. The welcome page acts as a central point for their user's
important information. It includes:
- A summary of new and unread email messages in your INBOX and other
folders you can select.
- Today's Calendar entries.
- Your Tasks that are currently incomplete (if you have a "Tasks" Web Aide).
- Your current disk usage
- Recent LuxSci news and notices
- Links and menus for accessing every part of the LuxSci web site, including
the help pages.
- Notifications of enabled auto-responders
- Much more.

I.2. The "Your Profile" Page
On the "your profile" pages, you can
- Update your contact information
- Supply a secret question and answer for enhanced security and authentication
- Specify your regional preferences such as language and time zone
- Change your password
- View access auditing reports that allow you to see successful connections to
your WebMail, POP, IMAP, and SMTP accounts. Reports include time of
login, IP address of the user, and additional service-specific information.
Reports also provide an audit trail listing email messages sent though WebMail,
your email servers, and your web servers.
- View graphs of your recent disk usage (past 30 days).
- View a "Disk Usage Detail" report breaking down
exactly which email folders, Web Aides, etc., are using
up significant amounts of disk space.
All users may access and manage their own profiles. Account administrators may
opt to not permit users to change their passwords.

The online help pages provide your users with lots of useful information:

Microsoft Outlook and Eudora
- Email troubleshooting problems and solutions
- Documentation on how LuxSci services function

- Help with setting up your web sites
- Much more

I.4. Support Tickets for Issue Tracking
LuxSci's online issue tracking system provides users
and account administrators with an easy way to submit questions and
issues to the support staff. Their questions and our responses will be
tracked and always available for future reference.

I.5. Enterprise Web Aides
Web Aides are
optional Intranet and personal information management tools enabling you
and your users to store and share information within the
universally-accessible LuxSci members' web portal. Some of the features of
Web Aides include:
- Many Types of Web Aides: Calendars, Address Books,
Tasks, eJournals, Document
Managers, Link Managers, Secure Password Managers, User Groups, Personal
Notes, and more...
- Access Control: Specify exactly who has what level of access to
each Web Aides; share information or keep it private.
- Security: Encrypt your content using centrally managed PGP
keys. This, combined with our secure web site, ensures the security and
integrity of your data.
- Attachments: Include files and documents as attachments.
- Categories: Categorize your entries for better organization.
- Export: Export your data into XML and ZIP files. Address Books
can be imported and exported as CSV files.
- Privacy: In addition to access controls allowing you to specify
exactly who can see your information, LuxSci has a very strict privacy policy - our technical support
staff will not access your Web Aide data without your prior consent.
- Auditing: Track exactly who created, viewed, and edited each
entry - and when they performed these actions.
