Covisint is announcing the release of Covisint Auction 5.10.

When

Why
Maintain our position as the industry leader in auction functionality providing a greater level of value to our customers.

Key New Features

1. Inclusion of "Current Savings" as an attribute in the MVB Template and NPV calculation.
   • This non-recurring variable will allow bidders to provide an optional discount over their standard quote.
   • When this variable is used in the MVB template, bidders will be able to enter a single value per line item, which will be deducted from the overall NPV.
   • The "Leading Bid" will be based on the overall NPV score (with Current Savings value subtracted).

2. Inclusion of Bidder-Specific Costing in a MVB Auction.
   • Originator-applied variable (value/percentage) for each invited Bidder Company. (Example: Transportation Cost).
   • Allows Originators to specify a value/cost for each Bidding Company.
   • This cost per line item can be evaluated in the final TPV formula.
   • It burdens the overall NPV (Bidder Score) as an additional recurring variable.

3. Enhanced Lead Visibility Settings (Non-MVB Auctions).
   • New visibility settings confer more control to auction Originators in non-MVB auctions.

Current Features

1. The Application Menu in Portal will continue to read as follows:
   • "Auction" = all live production environments, all companies, all users.
   • "Auction Training" = Environment designed for Originator Training and Bidder Trial Auctions allowing for unlimited bidding practice.
2. All current User ID's & Passwords will remain the same.
3. There are NO Bidder Software Downloads or Applets.
4. Key customers had input into these auction product enhancements enabling Covisint to improve functionality and offer increased options to automotive purchasing professionals.
5. All Auction Training and product related documentation for both Originators and Bidders will be located on the Covisint Portal.
6. Languages supported in Covisint Auction 5.10: English, French, German, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish, Italian, Mexican Spanish and Castilian Spanish.
