Julia earned a Master of Music Degree from Yale University, a Bachelor of Music from The University of Victoria and an Artist Diploma from The National Conservatory of Nice, France.

Special performances have included concerts with LucianoPavarotti (Pavarotti and Friends) in Modena, Italy, concert tours throughout Europe, North America, Australia & The Middle East, appearances with The Stars of the Musicals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and televised Christmas concerts at the Vatican in Rome.

She has appeared on numerous television programs worldwide and has graced the stages of some of the world's greatest Jazz and Blues Festivals as "Soul Harpist" to legendary soul singer: Solomon Burke.

Julia has collaborated with numerous orchestras throughout the world including The Vancouver Symphony, Orchestra Classica Italiana, The Russian American Youth Orchestra, The Cannes Philharmonic, Opera de Nice, and The Kuala Lumpur Philharmonic.

She has performed at special events for the Prince of Monaco, The Duke and Dutchess of York, The First Minister's Conference of Canada and for numerous private functions world-wide.
