Reading Tarot
Cards
So, yesterday I was reading my tarot cards. A book I
was reading suggested that you pick one card to represent what your day
would be like in general. So I sit down with the cards and say, "I'm
doing a 3 card draw to see what my day is like (past, present, future.)
So then I proceed to pull 3 cards that make no sense to me. I did not
consider this to be an accurate reading (duh). So I tried a different approach.
I asked my spirit guide to help me get an accurate reading and this time
I was only going to pull one card. Then I got these chills all over. So
I shuffled 3 times, as usual, then cut the deck...and some cards slipped
out of my cut. I left it the way it slipped, then pulled my card off the
top. It was the Magician. Now, see I am no expert at tarot yet and I still
read the meanings out of a book. I had a general idea that magician was
about energy and possibly magic, but I wanted to see what the book said.
So I looked down to get my book and the book was already flipped open
to the Magician card page!! I thought that was definitely a synchronicity
because I had just been using the book and was not reading that page.
So, I began reading what the book said about the Magician card..."You
are surrounded by a highly charged atmosphere controlled by forces greater
than yourself. Their considerable energies can help you if you acknowledge
their power. There is magic in the air." I thought this was all simply
amazing. I had been having constant chills since I first asked my spirit
guide for help, then I get this card and it says that. Maybe you're thinking,
"So what? I can see my dead grandmother and she talks to me."
Well, good for you, but this kind of thing has only been happening to
me pretty recently, so I'm still amazed by it all. My Spirit Guide is
really cool and I think he has a good sense of humor too. I say "he"
because one time I left my body (accidentally) and there was a man who
reminded me of Cheech Marin (Cheech and Chong) who pulled me down from
the bathroom ceiling where I had floated. This was years ago, but I assume
that was him. He was smiling at me kinda funny like he was almost laughing
at me. Yeah, it was pretty funny. I can imagine how I must have looked
to him.
So, anyway, today I was doing a Celtic Cross spread reading
to find out about Dewayne's upcoming court case. The first reading I did
looked promising for us. (And I did ask my spirit guide for assistance
first this time.) But, after the first reading, I was like, "Well,
lets do one more Celtic Cross, just to be sure the first one was right."
You know what the first card I got was (that represents "You"?)
Well, I forgot the card...but the interpretation was, "Do not second
guess yourself." Haahahaha. I thought that was pretty funny.
I've got to memorize these cards. It probably isn't too
difficult. I just need to set my mind to it. It's hard to look like a
witchy, mystical tarot reader when you are looking up the meanings in
a book called, "The Instant Tarot Reader," which is an excellent
book to start with, I should add. It's by Monte Farber and Amy Zerber
and it comes with a very nice deck. They should pay me referral fees for
the one whole person who may see this and buy the book. Just Kidding!
It's really a good starter book and I highly recommend it. Well, that's
