About the AirCares^® Program

Northwest Airlines is committed to improving the communities and lives of the people we serve around the world.  That's why the Northwest AirCares charitable support program was created in 1992.

AirCares works with more than 30 non-profit organizations in the United States, as well as many Asian organizations designed to channel the donation of WorldPerks miles to these groups.  On every flight Northwest's passengers learn about the mission of a designated charity partner through a flight attendant announcement.  In addition, Northwest's in-flight magazine WorldTraveler features an article describing the organization.
