Deep body with large silvery scales and almost transparent fins.
Veed tail and large eyes.

Typical location:
In midwater of small rivers, lakes and ponds.

Fishing methods:
Bottom fishing with weed, bread, dough, potatoes, molluscs or earthworm.

Fighting characteristics:
Constant direction changes and quick, but short runs.
