What shipping methods are available?
Most orders will be shipped via UPS ® Ground Service or via The US Postal Ground Service ™, and in certain cases FedEx ® or DHL for some products.
In stock orders will leave the warehouse, usually within one to four business days after you place your order. Actual delivery time will depend on which carrier service used, the distance from the warehouse to the shipping address, and the shipping method.
Although the majority of our products will ship to virtually any address within the continental US, certain carrier service restrictions will apply. For instance, certain products that ship ONLY by UPS Ground Service may not ship to P.O. Boxes and APO addresses. Please make sure to provide us with a street address to ship to, whenever possible.
SOME products do NOT ship internationally, at this time.
We do offer international shipping on the following product lines ONLY:
There is no added charge to ship the above products outside of the continental US.
Shipping is available also, on all of the above products, to Alaska, to Hawaii, as well as, to Canada.
Note: Some products have special shipping considerations, such as NITRO R/C vehicles and fuel. They may only be shipped by ground methods, due to their flammable nature. Larger or heavier items usually ship by UPS Ground, and furniture items will also only have ground shipping services available, and will usually ship by FedEx.
How do you calculate shipping charges?
Total shipping costs are based on the costs charged to us by the manufacturer (shipping & handling) to package and deliver the product directly to you from their warehouse or from our warehouse. Ground shipping charges are determined by shipping weights of orders, and are based on current tables used by UPS® Ground, The USPS™, (and FedEx® for larger, heavier items).
The shipping package size is also a consideration by all of the services, when determining shipping rates. When you select a ground shipping method (USPS™ or UPS®), whenever possible, we try to use the most cost effective service for your particular order.
(Note: FedEx® is not among the usual choices for a shipping method. We use this service mostly for furniture items.)
Just for your information, there is a minimum shipping charge for any ground shipment. This is why a lighter (under 1 lb.) single item will seem to have a high shipping charge. Shipping charges increase by small amounts per pound after that, generally, at least in the lower ranges (under 10 lbs.). For the most part, the more lighter weight items you order at one time, the more you will save on shipping in the long run.
Do you ship internationally?

What about overnight delivery and air delivery?
Overnight, second and third day shipping, and air delivery is available, on many products, for an additional shipping charge. Please bear in mind that it may take at least a day or two for the manufacturer to ship the products from the warehouse in the first place. Are there any hidden charges?
Absolutely not. We will only charge your credit card for the amount of shipping you see on your order invoice**. Even if our actual ground shipping and handling costs are higher, we will never add to your order total.
**Note: An exception to the above rule would of course be if you upgrade your shipping options from ground to an express service, after we receive your order, or your order requires air shipping to Alaska, to Hawaii, to Canada, or is shipped Internationally. We will notify you during processing, and you will always have the option to cancel your order or accept the additional charge.
We are not responsible for typographical or computer software generated errors on our website. If you place an order, and by chance you were charged an amount that disagrees with the actual charges intended, we will notify you of the situation.
- If you were overcharged, we will credit your order for the amount that was over.
- If you were undercharged, we will inform you of the additional amount needed to complete the order. You will have the option of accepting the additional charge, or canceling your order.
What about sales tax?
As our business is located in the state of Ohio, we are obligated to charge sales tax to orders that are billed to customers who reside in that state. The current rate is 7.5%. NO sales tax will be charged to any orders billed to addresses outside of the state of Ohio.
About Credit Card Fraud.
Today you hear a lot about credit card fraud, mostly involving dishonest merchants or less than reputable online autioneers cheating innocent consumers. What you don't hear very much about, is the high incidence of credit card fraud involving the loss encountered by honest online merchants when they receive a fraudulent order. When an order is placed by someone using stolen credit card information, they will often ask to have the product shipped as a "gift" to an address other than the actual cardholder's, for obvious reasons.
As if this wasn't enough to have to worry about, there is another growing trend these days, in people who make online purchases using their own credit card, with the intent of never actually paying. Believe it or not, there are ways of getting away with this scam, and the merchant has virtually no way to stop the process once they unknowingly accept an order from a person running this type of scam.
The unsuspecting merchant becomes the victim, as the credit card company intercedes to protect the consumer, and removes the so-called "fraudulent charges" from their credit card account. They then charge the merchant for the full amount of purchase. The merchant loses the cost of the merchandise, as well as the shipping cost and the original product itself. To add insult to injury, often times the merchant is fined in addition to the amount of the order, because of having accepted a "fraudulent transaction," even though they did nothing but sell and deliver the product to their perceived customer.
We use a secure and very thorough verification process through a well-established and trusted payment gateway providing company. Because we have taken many protective measures for both the consumer and our business, we make it very difficult to place a fraudulent order using a stolen credit card or credit card information, or to maintain any type of claim that an online order with our company was not authorized.
We also use all means possible to protect the consumer, in the event that their credit card information has been lost or stolen. We will do regular follow ups, by email (AND by phone when we deem necessary), to insure that you are fully aware that you have made a recent online purchase, (or that your credit card was used to do so) before we will continue processing that order, and subsequently charging your credit card. This is another reason why we ask for a valid phone number and email address where the customer may be reached if necessary.
Credit card fraud is a criminal offense, just like theft and shop lifting. In ALL cases of attempted use of stolen credit card information or fraudulent charge claims, we will not hesitate to prosecute ALL attempted acts of proven fraudulent behavior. It is unfortunate that a handful of misguided individuals can ruin a courtesy service (like automatically shipping a gift purchase) for the majority of honest online shoppers. We are doing our best to protect the consumer and our business, and to slow the recent increase in online credit card fraud.
We at National Brands Unlimited, do reserve the right to refuse any order, at our discretion, and we will refund any charges, at the time when we cancel the order.
