The company employs over 250 full and part-time employees and operates nine major leisure facilities. Included in this team are a number of emerging leaders of the swimming pool management industry, people who are not only qualified to provide effective technical management of large aquatic centres, but who are tuned into the requirements of modern, innovative leisure facility management.

Our philosophy is to ensure that staff have every opportunity to deliver excellent service, and to be rewarded for good performance with opportunities for training, career development and incentives.

Key concepts within our management approach include:

Efficiency - in providing best use of resources and value for money.
Effectiveness - in delivering a quality leisure service at a competitive price, but at the same time delivering programmes which acknowledge the social dividend demanded of public facilities.
Responsiveness - in meeting the needs of local communities and user interest groups, with the flexibility to meet changing and emerging demands.
Responsibility - in recognising the need to maintain and protect the community’s investment in facilities and assets, and present them to a high standard.
Quality Assurance - providing systems to ensure that standards in all areas are maintained at optimum levels.
Compliance - adhering to relevant standards and statutory requirements to ensure the health and safety of all in the facilities is protected.
Customer Service and Customer Care - ensuring that satisfying our customers is the first priority in service provision, and that all reasonable steps are taken to consult and inform ourselves about customer needs.
Partnership - establishing mutually rewarding relationships with your Council as client, with clubs and community groups as key customers, with local media and other stakeholders in the community.
Innovation - in programme, service and facility development to ensure that
customer interest in the facilities is constantly stimulated and reinforced,
and that residents have access to the latest trends through their
facilities.
Strategic Development - in conjunction with the Council, to ensure that the
facilities remains attractive and relevant to the needs of users and
potential users.

Facility Feasibility and Design

Aspects of this business include:
- appraising community needs for a facility
- identifying the appropriate facility mix to meet community needs

- examining and recommending appropriate management options

Community Recreation Needs Assessment
The company offers experience and services in qualitative and quantitative assessment of community needs for recreation and leisure facilities and services.
This ranges from formal market research at a general community level, through more specific surveying of potential users of particular facilities, to a professional appraisal of the expressed needs and demands of particular sectors of communities to identify the delicate point of balance between competing interests.

A particular strength of our company is a background in facilitated consultation with interest groups to identify and resolve particular issues or concerns.

Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
The breadth of experience within our team places us in a unique situation to assist with monitoring and evaluation of operational and management performance within leisure facilities.

Our collective experience in a variety of facility types, in a number of locations allows us to place facility management in a wide industry context, as well as looking at the internal strengths and weaknesses of particular operations.

We are able to identify opportunities to enhance the quality and efficiency of services as well as advancing the achievement of acceptable financial returns alongside the social objectives for which facilities are designed.

Contract Specification and Design
