Newberry College's 80-acre campus
is located in the center of South Carolina in the city of
Newberry. With a wide variety of majors (including veterinary
technology and a new graphic design program), 750 students,
and a 13:1 student-teacher ratio, Newberry College ensures
that students gain individual attention and guidance within
its values-based curriculum. Offering more than fifty organizations
on campus, Newberry College provides many opportunities for
excellence outside the classroom. More than forty percent
of the students participate in NCAA Division 2 inter-collegiate
sports. The athletics program includes fourteen NCAA competitive
teams for men and women and two club sports not yet competing
on the NCAA level.

Founded in 1856,
Newberry is affiliated with the South Carolina, Southeastern,
Florida-Bahamas, and Caribbean Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America.
