Your guided Lima Peru city tour starts at the Plaza Mayor(Plaza de Armas). You will visit the cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace and the San Francisco Church. Inside San Francisco church, the most magnificent colonial and monumental center of the America's, you find a Basilica with 21 altars, the convent with the cloister, the Clementina and Capitular room, the choir, the monks library and the Profundis Museum that exhibits 11 paintings of Rubens. The sacristia exhibits paints of Zurbaran and Rivera. The Gran Patio is garnished with Seville's tiles from the XVI century and moorish arcs. You can visit the underground tombs (catacumbas). Around 12 o'clock you can see the famous ceremonial changing of the guard in front of the presidential palace. In the afternoon you will visit the "Museo de Oro del Peru". This incredibly rich museum is a private collection and belongs to the Mujica Gallo family. You need a 2 hour guided tour and after that at least 2 hours for yourself just to get an impression!

Excursion to the ruins of Pachacámac. 1 day.

Pachacámac has been the sanctuary of Pachacámac's God, Universe creator and divinity, venerated by the andeamericans. In former times It has been a holy place, where millions of pilgrims gave their offerings and asked the Oracle for advice. Pachacámac has a lot of pyramidal temples and places built by different pre-Columbian cultures. Temples of Pachacámac are: Dios del Sol (sun god), Las Mujeres Escogidas (choosen women) and Las Virgenes del Sol (Sun virgins). Pachacámac also has a museum that exhibits the idol of Pachacámac's God. The place is part of the world's mystic axis. The tour allows you to visit Barranco Streets, Costa Verde Beaches, Salto del Fraile cliffs and Villa Swamps. You will travel to these places through the South Panamericana highway.
