Keyhole Customer Support Analyst
Position located in Mountain View, CA.

The Keyhole division of Google is currently searching for a Customer Support Analyst to provide high quality technical and functional assistance and solutions to customers in real estate, architecture, communications, government and transportation.

We are considering local candidates only.

Responsibilities:
• Provide end-user support via phone, fax, and email to Keyhole customers.
• Solve technical and end-user problems for Keyhole users.
• Determine or recommend software changes to Keyhole customers.
• Test software and hardware to evaluate solutions.
• Help install, configure, and administer Keyhole software.

Recommended Qualifications:
• 2- 5 years of technical customer service desired.
• Understanding of database/networking basics required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of GIS advantageous.
• Bachelors degree required.
• Experience in 3D application development, administration, or testing a plus.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently.

Keyhole Inside Sales Representative
Position located in Mountain View

Sell a product that customers love! Keyhole, a Google product that provides cutting edge 3D earth information systems to CNN and the US Government as well as Fortune 500 customers, is looking for a junior to mid-level inside sales representative to join a very successful sales and business development team. You will be responsible for selling to corporate customers in real estate, architecture/engineering/construction, telecommunications, transportation and other verticals in your territory. Keyhole has an abundance of in-bound leads, a truly exciting product, and an excellent value proposition for its customers. We are looking for a motivated, focused and well organized inside sales representative with at least 3 years experience to join our growing team. You must be comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, creatively identifying customer needs, and closing sales effectively.

Responsibilities:
• Qualify in-bound leads, respond by phone and email with an appropriate sales message
• Contact existing accounts to sell additional licenses and upgrades
• Set up appointments and presentations for out-bound calls
• Work in concert with inside and field sales reps in a team environment
• Process orders and communicate with customers

Experience:
3 years minimum experience in software/ASP sales
• Experience with a “best practices” sales organization
• Bachelors degree

Qualifications:
Meet or exceed above experience detail
• Ability to thoroughly qualify opportunities, identify prospects and understand customer problems/goals
• Ability to clearly communicate positioning and value of a software/ASP solution

Enterprise Sales/Deployment Engineer
Position located in Mountain View.

Did you ever wish you could fly anywhere on earth with the click of a mouse. Well, that time is here thanks to Keyhole, a Google product that let’s you visualize any location on earth in 3D. The Keyhole group is hiring a sales/deployment engineer who will help the Keyhole technology to be adopted by large commercial and government customers. As part of the growing Keyhole business team, you will be working side by side with a Sales manager to provide enterprise technical solutions to customers in the office and in the field. Following the sale, be the on-site technology expert that provides solutions to customers in the areas of system configuration, network setup, replication and diagnosis of customer issues. You will perform hands-on product certification, as well as be the customer advocate to the development team for product improvements.

Qualifications:
• Education to Bachelor Degree level in a computer or engineering subject.
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• 5+ years experience as a sales engineer or with professional services or systems engineering in a UNIX/Linux environment. Hands-on Linux experience is a must.
• Previous software coding experience.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, HTTP, XML, XSLT, CGI, Java, …).
• Understanding of enterprise networking concepts (TCP, proxies, DMZ, …).
• Knowledge of SQL and experience developing queries and data extraction scripts for relational databases.
• Knowledge of GIS technologies is desired including common data formats and applications (ESRI, MapInfo, Oracle Spatial, etc.)
• Outstanding account management and follow-through skills, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer skills and ability to work in very challenging pre-and post-sales situations.

Responsibilities:
• Traveling (35% to 50% required) to visit customers throughout the US and internationally and building a quick rapport with them.
• Providing hands-on technical assistance, consulting services and troubleshooting support for customers.
• Searching for new customers that could benefit from company products.
• Taking part in trade shows, conferences and marketing events.
• Performing technical presentations and demonstrating how Keyhole products will meet customer needs.
• Building and maintaining a close relationship with customers, Sales Managers and the engineering team.

GIS Data Processing Engineer (full-time)
Currently we are seeking a data-processing engineer to fuse massive vector, image and point of interest datasets into a multi-terabyte 3D model of the globe. Experience working with large data sets and fluency with vector, image and/or terrain data is required. Proven experience with Open GIS standards, file formats, tools and databases are required. Deep Linux knowledge, scripting (perl or shell), strong organizational skills, and strong communication skills are also a must.
