I write options on stocks but wouldnt know how to do it on FX. Surely writing calls against a long position would hedge most directional risk over the long term?

It really doesn't matter which year you click. The resulting webpage always has all the yearly tables from the time you opened the account. The only thing it does is position the appropriate yearly table...
