Expanding technologies and tool sets
Covisint is both following and working to develop the standards for industry integration options and protocols. Working with groups such as AIAG, Odette, JAMA. UN/CEFACT, and many others, Covisint has become a defacto leader in the ebXML arena.
Covisint is also following emerging standards for additional integration options. One such standard is Web Services, which is a programming model for Web-based objects. The technologies used in Web Services include XML, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Universal Description, Discovery, Integration (UDDI) servers, and the Web Services Description Language (WSDL).
