Around the Seattle area, the places to visit are Puget Sound, Bremerton Blake Island - the state park where President Clinton met with 14 Asian leaders at the APEC Conference in 1993, Snoqualmie Falls, the ski areas - Alpental, Snoqualmie Summit, Ski Acres and Hyak, Vancouver and the suburban community of Woodinville. Skiing, of course is the biggest draw here, others are hiking, swimming and wind surfing. When the weather is good, there's sailing as well as sea and white-water kayaking.
Seattle's main airport is known as Sea-Tac. This is a busy airport with many domestic and international flights coming and going.
