My Fishing Nut, June 01, 2004
Reviewer: Kaci Davis from Kalamazoo, MI
My husband is a real fishing nut. I knew when I married him that fishing would always be his other love, so I’ve tried to get into it more. I figured one way I could get into it more was by learning how to cook some of the fish he brings home, but my usual “put it in a pan with salt and pepper” wasn’t cutting it. This book pointed me straight to several websites that have great recipes for preparing fish dishes. Though Jason never really complains about my cooking, I know I must be getting better because even I enjoy preparing and eating it. Needless to say, this book made my life easier and saved me time by telling me exactly where to go to find exactly what I needed.

Saved My Trip to Houston, June 01, 2004
Reviewer: Robert Lewis from Newburgh, IN
I recently had to go to Houston for a month for work. I had never been there before, so I didn’t have the first clue as to where to go to fish. I dreaded the thought of spending hours searching the Web, but I knew I couldn’t go a whole month without fishing.
Then I remembered the book my brother gave me for my birthday. I opened it up and flipped straight to the section on Texas. Not only did I find a listing for the site with the best information about fishing in the Houston area, the book also turned me on to a few other sites where I got the info I needed to plan some weekend saltwater trips on the coast.
From now on when I have to go out of town on business, I’ll always include Fishing Online: 1,000 Best Web Sites in my pre-trip checklist right up there with booking my flight, getting a rental car and finding a hotel.
