I get messages like 'Config.pm not found.' What does it mean?

This means your Perl is not properly installed, or that Interchange is not using the proper Perl binary. On UNIX, try reinstalling Interchange and using the standard Perl installation sequence:

 Business::OnlinePayment support for Interchange

In a recent thread (updated and correct link)in the interchange-users mailing list
Tom Hodder claimed that a technical staff member of a company he is working for told him:

"I have used interchange, but it doesn't run for very long before the daemon drops dead".

This has been answered by a lot of stories about how
stable Interchange is running on a well-maintained
machine.

 Interchange in Open Source Survey
You may recall that Neil Hambleton of Henley Management College posted an invitation for a survey on Open Source Software. Six open source projects were compared. Besides Interchange, the other projects were PHP, Zope, MySQL, Postgres, and OpenOffice.

Interchange users responded at a high rate, and provided more responses than any project except Postgres.
