Exciting Times Lie Ahead

Executive Editor Pete Pistone has been associated with auto racing most of his life. His uncle "Tiger" Tom Pistone was a NASCAR driver in the 1950's and Pete literally grew-up in the pits. A motorsports jounalist for nearly twenty years, Pete has a wide range of both print and broadcast experience. He is the on-air auto racing reporter for Chicago's WGN Radio and hosts a weekly motorsports report every Friday evening. Pete is also a sports reporter for Chicagoland Television (CLTV) and hosts "Victory Lane," an hour-long motorsports show which airs Tuesday evenings. Pete has covered auto racing for the Chicago Sun-Times since 1995, and has also written for such publications as Speedway Illustrated, Circle Track and Stock Car Racing Magazine. His on-air experience also includes work for SPEED Channel, Chicago's WLS-TV (ABC) and WGN-TV.
