Jim's professional career of over 25 years, he has maintained a
law practice devoted largely to real estate and municipal law. He
has actively participated in the management of his family's building
supply company, most recently as its building materials department
manager. Jim has also managed the development of several residential
and commercial developments.

(Fuquay-Varina, NC). Currently, Jim's primary concentration is on custom
home building in the Southport area. His particular interest is in building
higher-end custom homes for empty-nesters and retirees in the Southport
area and building neo-traditional housing compatible with and reminiscent
of the historic houses of old Southport. His company is intentionally
small as he wishes to be able to work closely and personally with his
customers throughout the building process.
