Media Reports of an Airprox, 24 March 2004
An airprox was reported by the crews of a civil and a military aircraft on 24 March 2004, over Newbury. The report is subject to independent assessment by the UK Airprox Board. At no point was the safety of either aircraft compromised. In NATS’ view, the required separation levels were maintained at all times. NATS believes the aircraft were several miles apart.

A number of newspapers, radio and TV stations report today on an airprox involving a Virgin 747 and a Delta 767, in which track data blocks for the two aircraft were inadvertently swapped on-screen.
