Australian Libraries Gateway (ALG) redevelopment

The ALG team is redeveloping the ALG website to make it easier for you to update your entries.

The first pages that have been redeveloped are the online edit pages. They are being changed to make them easier to use.

Library entries will not be affected by this change.

Libraries who have not updated their information for some time may be removed from ALG as part of the current redevelopment
and maintenance of the website.

Please see below for information on how to update your entry.

We are also updating the 'For Libraries', and 'Pathways to Australian Information' pages. This includes adding new links,
and removing redundant or out of date information.

If you would like to suggest ways in which you think that the website can be enhanced, please let us know. Please email your suggestions to alg@nla.gov.au.

Subscribe to the ALG List

We encourage ALL libraries with an entry in ALG to subscribe to the ALG email discussion List. To subscribe to ALG, follow these steps:

Update your entry in ALG

This month, those of you who have not updated your entry since June 30 2004, will receive an email encouraging you to update it. This email will include your password to make the process quicker and easier.

Please take the time to update your library's entry in the database. The database is only as good as the currency of the
information in it.

If you would like to update your entry, but do not know your password, please email the ALG Administrator at:
alg@nla.gov.au.
Please note that passwords cannot be given out over the phone.

If your details are correct please bring up your record and click on 'submit these updated details' so that the 'last updated' date changes.
