|
|
I have had some very unfortunate circumstances happen that led to me getting into debt in the UK after living there with my wife for 3 years. My intentions have to been to pay payments to them. since I have moved back to the states they have been calling me and sending me letters and they even called me at like 3 am in the morning. I am in Michigan and I am looking to file bankruptcy in the UK. Will this Bankruptcy affect my states credit? Can the creditors attach a debt to my states credit and chase me in the courts here? Please help with this. My debts are about £25,000 which is about £50,000. There is no way I can pay this back.
Thanks,
David |

Hi Casper,
Welcome to debtconsolidationcare forum. We feel very sorry for your bad situation. Good intentions aren’t enough to pleased the creditors, things should be done in writing and they have every reasons to keep calling you as they want their money back and need to do something about it.
Your credit could be affected as it is easy to get information and details, why not keep writing to them again with an honest descriptions on your situation and the payment plan you had.
Since it is not possible to pay back the entire amount, you can go for some advice or counseling on what to do next before filing bankruptcy in the U.K. Why don’t you go for our expert advice and counseling?
