This map shows all the stations for which monthly and daily
data are available. |

Up to six data files are available free of charge, i.e. either
six years of monthly data or six months of daily data, or a combination
of both. If you require more than six data files from the stations
listed above, within the dates available, the cost is £2 per data
file. Data will be delivered by e-mail as an Excel attachment,
unless requested otherwise.

Data required from stations other than those listed or from any
other period of time may also be available. There is an extraction
fee for these data. To enable us to provide a quote, a letter containing
all the relevant information is required. The details needed are
the dates, the elements (temperature, rainfall, etc.) and the location,
together with the project title and the final qualification. A daytime
contact telephone number would also be helpful in case of any problems
with extracting the requested data.
The minimum charge for this service will be £25 + VAT at 17.5%
(VAT not applicable to educational establishments).

| Data for university students |

University students should contact Academic
research. Alternatively, you can find out more about Met
Office archived data and services available to the research and
academic community.
However, if only a small amount of data are required, university
students are able to receive data from the Education Service,
as detailed in the 'Available data' section above; this does not
include 'Additional data'.
