Vacations
A vacation can be a great way to relax and unwind, whether you are a
businessman or a radio disc jockey, everyone can use a vacation now and
again. Most places of employment offer their employees some paid
vacation time to reward them for the hard work they put in day in and day out
at the office or the plant. And after a nice enjoyable vacation, an
employee returns to the workplace rested and rejuvenated, ready to put in
another year of effort.
On average, a family plans a vacation every year. Some go camping while
others prefer resorts.
Popular places for camping include the Adirondacks of New York,
including Lake George and Saranac Lake, and also areas of northern California
such as Yosemite National Park and Crater Lake in southern Oregon.
These parks and their surrounding areas are filled with KOA campgrounds and
AAA approved sites for all your camping needs. And the outdoors provide
a great place to go swimming, hiking, canoeing, rafting or anyother
activity you can think of.
Some people think of pampering resorts when the word vacation is
mentioned. A coctail, a chair by the pool and a massage in the afternoon is
a
great way to get a little R&R (rest and relaxation). Room service or
fine dining for all your meals and some time in the sun can be great ways
to enjoy the luxuries of such exclusive resorts as the Hotel Raphael in
Paris, France.
Anyway you look at it, a vacation is great way to spend some time. So
turn off your computer, pick up your phone, call your travel agent and
get away today.
