Our "Welcoming the Ultimate T.E.A.M. To Boston" reception Tuesday March 15th was a HUGE success.
Mayor Thomas Menino declared the day "World T.E.A.M. Sports Day" in Boston and we had over 100 leaders from Boston's for-profit, non-profit, sports and media organizations attend the event, including Mayor Menino, Olympic bronze medalist Jimmy Pedro and the presidents of WHDH-TV, CBS-4 and WCVB-TV, Boston's three largest TV stations, as well as the president of New England Cable News, and Boston Public School Superintendent Thomas Payzant.

World T.E.A.M. Sports' FREE Inclusive Sports Clinics for Inner City Youths
World T.E.A.M. Sports will showcase what we do; creating soul-stirring,
inclusive sports opportunities, teaming disabled athletes with able-bodied
athletes. This particular event will focus on creating inclusive sports
opportunities for inner city kids, both able-bodied and disabled.

World T.E.A.M. Sports will partner with Lesley University, the National Braille Press, Perkins School for the Blind and Erik Weihenmayer, on a curriculum for youth entitled Touching the Top: A Profile in Courage , allowing thousands of students to gain life skills and character training skills.
