The Uniface Application Platform Suite

The Uniface Application Platform Suite (APS) delivers an enterprise capable solution. It provides application development, integration, business process management and user interface frameworks though software products that can be used both individually, or together.

An application platform suite provides modern business applications with an integrated solution containing:

• Enterprise Application Server (EAS): Hosts the applications business logic software, typically in the form of technical software components.
• Portal Product: Hosts and enabled the Multi-channel user experience portion of the application
• Integration suite: Facilitates the application access to legacy applications, software packages and partner enterprise applications.

An APS is a ‘single vendor’ solution to the installing of a modern application platform. It offers the flexibility of the single deployment of the components parts of the platform, but these parts are integrated to enable expansion when required.

Uniface Flow

Uniface Flow provides Business Process Management (BPM) to enable the graphical modeling of tasks into business processes. The tasks can be in a variety of applications, and technologies, but are seamlessly integrated.

The business processes are managed through process consoles, which can be run-time tuning and adjustment capabilities to fulfill operational needs.

Uniface View

Uniface View is a web-based application deployment framework that provides a pre-personalized and personalizable web-based workspace to end-users. Uniface View helps users to more efficiently do their work and collaborate in and across communities in an environment that is tailored to the needs of each individual and each group. Content comes from a variety of sources, including web-based applications, which can deployed using this framework.

Uniface View brings value as a low cost, easy to implement and easy to use web-based application deployment framework that is very appealing to customers that want to take a low risk approach to portals. Uniface View makes this possible because it has a built-in infrastructure and does not require any additional application servers or DBMS systems.
