Starting in a growing time of uncertainty, (like today), The Beast and Babylon takes a different glance at where the real troubles of the world lay. Not in terrorism, not in urban violence, not even in small countries stockpiling nukes. The thing The Beast and Babylon hits on, is scary global domination. Where every thought you have, is not your own. Where everywhere you go, you are watched and monitered. Where everything you do, is known. Sounds scary, eh?
Well its reality in the book, The Beast and Babylon. An explosive story-epic, that revolves around a rag-tag team of do gooders, fighting admist a sea of controlled people, and a reality that is hellish, and beyond belief. Which it is almost shockingly similar to the way things are in our own time, without any stories of fiction. Diving deeper into our own reality, we see the prose the story is taken from. With the ever-tightening atrocities of The Patriot Act, and closing walls on our freedoms.
The story told in The Beast and Babylon is almost teeth-chattering real. Yet the work is a peice of fiction, it stills takes a lot of prose from what is happening in our own world. The story is a heated trail into the unknown, with moments of suspense that puts most movies to shame. An intriguing cast of characters, who are well developed, and never-ending pool of mega-sight action. That leaves you breathless as to how it all started.
First, you have the memorable character Ryan. Who is a young, and heartfilled college student. That has a great life, with his young love, Jesse. They embark upon a mission for truth, and Ryan manages to meet up with someone that leads him into the vat of it. This man is Bryant Linber, a expert computer hacker, and a founding father of the rebel organization known as the "alliance". Which is a group of many individuals all over the world, fighting the Beast. Or the "dominion." Which it is mostly called in the story, or is the professional name of it.
They are on a never-ending fight with the terrible police force known as the "ironfist", a futuristic system that incorporates machines and technology at every whim. They manage to fight it out, and the story becomes ever twisted with their struggle. Going up against an entire established world power, and going into the streets and society that live to serve them. Which is known in the story as "Babylon."
The megalith feel to the story is overwhelming, and has "epic" written all over it. The main thing with it all too, is an important message of hope that hooks the reader in. Saying nothing is hopeless, no matter what the situation. You really will need to experience the adventure, and grab up a copy of it today.
The Beast and Babylon
The Beast and Babylon is a perceptive look into the darkness that surrounds mankinds world. From the outlook of conspiracy theories and global takeovers of secret world powers. The book is an overall work of fiction and sets the stage for a sci-fi epic, but also deeply asks the reader the question, who exactly is controlling our world? Is it the classic word, "god", or some horrific unknown force.
The basic plot of The Beast and Babylon, is set in the probable present and leads the story into a most likely future. The main character is a young man named Ryan Devlon, who is a just-graduating college student. He is followed in the story by his first true love, the young lady known as Jesse. He first discovers a strange reality inclosing in on him, and begins to plunge down a never-ending hole of intrigue.
He meets up with a veteran "alliance" member, Bryant Linber. a man who is considered by most of the alliance, as a father figure. He teaches the young Ryan the horrific facts of the new world, and they begin the fight for their freedom, and the freedom of man kind. With strange plot twists, and a gripping and touching story of human courage. The Beast and Babylon is a bringing together of human worth, and spirituality. In the midst of a chaotic and exploding world.
The book has a unique feel to it, almost memorable to the styilings of The Terminator epic, but creates a world within a world, similar to the classic Orwelle book, 1984. Only take Orwelle's book, and give it a few shots of steroids, and you get the exciting adventure of The Beast and Babylon. Join the alliance, and their fight for truth, and freedom before the world is no more!!
