Google Ranked 0 Sites

If you have just launched a website then you will have a Google Page ranking of 0. If you had a page rank and it has just gone back to 0 then you may have a penalty. If you have a  penalty, then you may be better to start off from scratch on a new site!

So where do we stand? Rank Share has a home page ranking of 6 (27/01/05). DOes this mean millions of visitors? Does this mean that we get more traffic than all websites with a page rank of 4? No. Not at all. If it was that simple, then this site would not be here anyway to outline some simple case studies and give links to reports and tests online.

The last 7 days has seen may searches, mostly probably desperate webmasters wanting to know how they can improve their website performance. Just remember, concentrate on quality and not ranking. Get the former right, the latter will follow!

Linking your website from a site with a higher page rank can be a great help for your own website's page ranking. Page ranking is a complex process and is bead read straight from the mouths of Google engineers. If you are looking to get hits and increase your ranking then insure your linking text is along the lines of your chosen keyword.
