Gage Interfaces for Digital,
Analog, RS232, and LVDT
Industry is striving for increased
levels of quality. The time spent controlling and
monitoring this can be greatly speeded up by connecting
every electronic gage (scales, callipers, thickness
gages, profile gages, etc.) which has a data output
to a computer.
Many gages, however cannot link to
the back of the computer. Either they have the wrong
connector, or there is no free connection point (port)
on the PC.
Dataputer range of multiplexers
allows most gages to link to the PC. They also allow
a number of different gages to share the same computer
port and enable analogue gages to be connected to
the PC.
