1. Earn a six-figure income within two months! And, you know it's true because this online business opportunity is usually accompanied by a testimonial showing a portion of the author's checking account with his newfound wealth.

If it isn't true in the real world, why would you believe it was online? There is no miracle sales letter to bring you this kind of income. But, that sales letter brings the website author lots of money from people believing they'll have the same "success."

2. Make money writing eBooks and get free distribution rights to hundreds of others. You won't find out how much this opportunity is going to cost for the obligatory training manual, until you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the sales pitch. And, you will not only find the price has been drastically reduced because you are "lucky visitor number xxx" but you will get almost three times the book value worth of additional free books.

This is amazing marketing, pure and simple. Stop and think. If sales isn't your game offline, it's not going to happen for you online! You have to create your own books to sell and fill them with the initial author's sales materials. And, you've paid for the opportunity to sell his products.

How To Recognize A Real Online Business Opportunity

First of all, you have to get past the idea that you're going to get rich, quick. But, you can develop an online business and make money.

A real online business opportunity will give you strong support, including hard-copy training manuals for your apprenticeship to help you learn how to conduct your new business. There are any number of businesses on the web today to guide you. Take the time to study what makes a successful web site and what doesn't work. Locate others working in the same field and join their forums for mentoring. You will have to expend as much effort towards your online business as you would toward a real bricks-and-mortar building down the street for it to be a success.

Working at home with your online business is wonderful for those willing to put in the time and energy but it's well worth the effort.
