BELLAVISTA - CAPRI: llocated in Anacapri, is one of the
eldest hotel inside Capri as it's been open since the beginning of
the last century when tourism was not already born. The building was
once a sighting tower built in the XVII century so that Hotel Bellavista
surely ensures to all its guests an unforgettable panoramic view on
Gulf of Naples and the islands of Ischia and Procida. During the centuries
the tower first became a typical house of Capri with cross vault ceilings,
floors of majolica, wide internal space lighted up by several windows
with seaview.

Casa Caprile in Anacapri was, in 1925, the Queen Vittoria Friedrich
von Baden's residence, King Gustavo di Svezia's wife. Suggested
by his doctor and his friend Axel Munthe who thought that the weather
of the island would have been good for her health conditions, the
Queen soon became familiar to the inhabitants of Capri. The position
of the Villa, completely oriented toward south, allows to our guests
to better enjoy of sunshine and the fresh breeze during all the
day besides the beautiful view on Mediterranean sea.
