About the Developer

The Old Creek Development partnership is headed by David M. Sidbury, a Charlotte based construction executive with extensive historic renovation and development experience. He is a longtime visitor to the Southport area, dating to the mid-1950 when his father oversaw construction of the Sunny Point military shipping terminal.

The development we now know as Olde Southport is located on a beautiful tract of historic land, owned by Development Partner, Robert O. Willis. He recombined his family property and other parcels to create Olde Southport and currently lives on an adjacent parcel.
