SalesCart-X permits complete customization of shopping carts on UNIX without using PERL. PHP scripting and mySQL provide unlimited flexibility, enterprise-class database powers, and a true open-source solution for use on Linux Web servers.

SalesCart-X is a “bolt-on” E-commerce shopping cart system enabling developers to quickly create shopping carts capable of managing hundreds or thousands of products or orders while working within a familiar design tool environment. The program comes with ready-to use templates, wizards, an online help system that is integrated into the design tool, and a browser-based order management system for order fulfillment tracking by customers, sales and product reporting, and other back-end operations.  

The software can be used to create both static and dynamic catalog-based shopping carts that seamlessly integrate with Web sites built with Macromedia Dreamweaver, UltraDev, or with Microsoft FrontPage. This eliminates the need for developers to build their own carts from scratch or use stand-alone shopping cart solutions that lack the customizability to fit with existing site designs.
