Frisco hits
“homerun” with plans to build a sports-entertainment complex, minor
league ballpark, hotel, convention center; scores “powerplay” as
Dallas Stars announce plans to move training-practice facility to Frisco. In
conjunction with Southwest Sports Group and Mandalay Sports Entertainment,
Frisco has built a minor league ballpark that features, The Frisco Rough
Riders, a farm club of the Texas Rangers. Frisco’s latest “field
of dreams” located at northeast corner of State Highway 121 and the Dallas
North Tollway. City leaders estimate the developments will have an economic
impact of more than a $100 million dollars each year.
