| Hi, I'm new to this group. Was actually inquiring on my roommate's behalf. He's gotten himself into trouble with many companies, owing hundreds and even thousands of dollars. My question is: if we live in a different state from which he acquired most of his debts, and also has some in our new home state, is it still possible to consolidate? Would the state laws in which we now reside apply to the debts of the other states? |
