Hi, I need some advice on what to do with my upcoming income tax money. I will be receiving about $1500 and am undecided on what to do with it. I can finish paying my car note, which is $1650 or pay off 3 of my credit cards. If I pay off my car note, I will be saving about $300 a month. If I pay off my credit cards I won't have to worry about them and save all that interest. One thing I should mention, I am behind and over the limit on all of them. I'll still have 3 more cards to worry about and another car note as well. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Hi cazajosa,

The debt with greater interest should be disposed off first. Therefore pay off your car note first and consolidation will be a good option for your credit card debts.

Thank you,
Simon
